Students in the anatomy class are being introduced to the body systems and preparing for peer presentations. Each group was assigned one specific body system. They must then create a visual of the system and presentation to present to their peers on the overall function of the organ system. Also, the presentation will focus on the major organs within the system and their individual functions . Students also have to identify two major diseases common with that organ system.

Today the Spanish for Native Speakers class displayed their projects for Spanish Heritage Month. This project, centered around famous people with Spanish or Hispanic heritage, exhibits their rich culture to their peers.

Today, we welcomed more than 100 professionals to our College & Career Fair! Our juniors and seniors had the opportunity to connect with professionals, colleges & universities, explore career pathways, and learn more about the exciting opportunities available after high school. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this event a success!

One of the great features of our new building is that nearly every space was designed to enable it to be used for learning. Here is Mrs. Sawyer using a hallway white board to provide students with extra algebra support during x-block. An innovative building design combined with a schedule that builds in time for extra help can really make a difference.
