Parking and Bus Loop Update

On January 3, changes to the bus loop and student parking will go into effect. Important notes:

  • All bus and student drivers will now enter campus via Rathbun Willard Drive. The bus loop and student parking will NOT be accessible via Bushee or Verndale Streets.

  • All student parking will be in Lot C,  which is directly behind the cafeteria and adjacent to the bus loop.

  • The Bushee and Tennis parking lots will be closed after break.

  • Due to the changes outlined above, all students who park at AHS must register their vehicles using this form: Student Parking. The form must be completed by December 18.  Any student who fails to register and/or display their “student parking decal” will be subject to the consequences detailed in the Student Handbook including the revocation of parking privileges and the risk of having the vehicle towed from school grounds. Please see page 47 of the handbook for additional details regarding student parking. Decals will be given to students once parking has been normalized.

    • More details will be shared directly with students once they complete the form. Please note: only students can complete this form and they must be logged into their @attleborops.net account to do so.

  •  Students parking in the Highland Lot may continue to do so.

  • Limited student parking is also available at the Drummond Street lot along  the athletic fields.

  • Please keep in mind that we share our parking lots with many different groups connected to Attleboro Public Schools and different groups have different start times. Even if you see an open space in a lot unassigned to you, please do not park in it. That space is reserved for someone else. Parking is a complicated endeavor; please note that we may have to make changes once we start using the spaces.

  • We anticipate lots of traffic on January 3, please arrive early!

We will send a similar update on Jan. 2,2023 reviewing these details for the changes that will occur when we return.

Our AHS family wishes all of our students and families a safe and joyous holiday break.
