Blue Bombardiers

Dear AHS Families,

Shout out to the Leo Club students, volunteers and Ms. Wright for putting on a truly amazing Haunted Hallways event Thursday evening.  More than 321 families attended, with over a thousand people visiting booths, walking the halls, and scoping out the pumpkin patch.  Kudos to our CTE program and clubs as well for supporting setup and decoration. We loved seeing costumed kiddos enjoying themselves.  Thank you to our families for coming out to support the event!

PSAT/SAT Payment Reminder

Congratulations to all students who participated in the PSAT/NMSQT (Grades 10 and 11) or SAT School Day (Grade 12) at AHS on October 21!

Students in Grades 11 and 12 who took the test but have not yet paid should log in to Unipay and pay their test fees as soon as possible. Please note: Unpaid fees will be entered as obligations in Aspen early next week. Please beware that students with unpaid obligations will be unable to participate in school events such as the upcoming Homecoming Dance.

PSAT/SAT Score Release

PSAT/NMSQT and SAT School Day scores are expected to be available to students online on or around November 5. Students can access their scores in these ways:

  1. College Board student account: Students can log in to their personal College Board accounts at studentscores.collegeboard.org to access their scores, gain additional insights about them, and explore bigfuture.org.

  1. BigFuture School mobile app: Students who provided a mobile number at test setup can view their scores securely on their phone. Students who don’t have the app yet can sign in with their test registration number. Students who need their registration number should email Robin Frank at rfrank@attleboroschools.com.

To help families understand results, College Board offers these resources:

Student Medications and Food Deliveries

If your student has forgotten to take medication before coming to school, guardians may bring it in but must wait in the Principal’s Office for their student, administer the medicine directly to their student, and take any remaining medication out with them.  This is not only a school rule, but a state law.

No outside, third-party food is permitted to be delivered to the campus. Any outside food dropped off for a student will be held until the end of the day, at which time the student may get the food.  Students entering late are also prohibited from bringing outside food to distribute to other students. As a reminder, breakfast and lunch are available to all students at no cost.

Student Dismissals

We understand that unexpected situations come up and you may occasionally need to pick up your student without prior notice. To help our school day run smoothly and ensure your child is ready when you arrive, we kindly ask that dismissal requests be sent in advance whenever possible. If a same-day request is unavoidable, please give your house office at least two hours' notice using the email addresses below:

House 1:       ahshouse1@attleboroschools.com

House 2:       ahshouse2@attleboroschools.com

House 3:       ahshouse3@attleboroschools.com

House 4:       ahshouse4@attleboroschools.com

If you cannot arrange this ahead of time and must do a walk-in dismissal, you must have your valid driver’s license or other form of official ID with you for you to be able to dismiss your child.  Additionally, if you arrange for someone else to pick up your child, they may not do a walk-in dismissal unless they are on your child’s Aspen account as an authorized person.

MCAS Score Reports

On Friday, Oct 30, students will receive paper copies of their MCAS Score Reports. These score reports contain important information in regard to each student’s academic performance. Please review and seek out your student’s guidance counselor if you have any questions.

Career and Technical Education News

Attleboro High School’s Carpentry program is a state-approved Chapter 74 Vocational Technical Education program designed to provide students with rigorous academic instruction combined with hands-on technical training. Through practical experience—such as measuring, designing, and constructing structures like picnic tables—students gain real-world trade skills, master industry-standard tools, and adhere to essential safety protocols. This Chapter 74 designation ensures that graduates leave fully equipped with marketable competencies, valuable industry credentials, and a direct pathway toward high-demand careers or post-secondary education in the construction trades. Have a Smashing Good Time

Join the fun at Attleboro’s first annual Pumpkin Smash event on November 08, 2026, 11am-2pm at Highland Park (Rathbun Willard Drive, across from Attleboro High School).

The Sustainability Commission is partnering with the Attleboro Solid Waste Management and Black Earth Compost to show a better way to trash your Halloween pumpkins. Residents of Attleboro and surrounding communities are invited to this free and fun family event. Participants will have a few options to smash, mash or whack their Halloween pumpkins. After the fun, Black Earth Compost company will haul the scraps away and turn it into rich compost for gardens.

So, bring your own pumpkins and smash away! Sorry, painted, glittered, or pumpkins with candles do not make good compost.

The Sustainability Commission is a nine-member volunteer team of Attleboro residents that are passionate about installing sustainability practices in the city. For more information on the commission, go to: Sustainability Commission. For more information on how to make Attleboro more sustainable, go to: Attleboro: Sustainable By Design.
