AHS Students & Families-
This week has been a busy one: athletics are in full swing with a slate of games this afternoon and evening, and our academic and student leadership programs are picking up momentum. This week we would like to celebrate our Blue Pride Bistro, which is preparing to open for the 26-27 school year, and our AHS Fall Captains attended the Hockomock League Leadership Conference on Tuesday. Student Council, Class Officers and students generally are reminded to be on the lookout for updates from Mr. Lane regarding student voice and student-led school culture at AHS. School Picture Day
Smile! On Tuesday, September 22, Attleboro High School, in partnership with Lifetouch, will be holding our annual picture day. Order forms will be available for students in their X-Block class, their house office, the Student Activities Office, the Balcony and the Principal's Office. You can also place your order on mylifetouch.com using your Picture Day ID: EVT74F6QR. Orders after Picture Day must be placed online. All students will be required to have a picture taken for use in Aspen. We look forward to seeing those smiles!
Pictures will be taken by grade level at the following times:
Period 1 - Grade 10
Period 3 - Grade 9
Period 5 - Grade 12
Period 7 - Grade 11
Teachers will also give students more specific directions on Tuesday.
Senior Planning Night/Financial Aid Night
September 24, 6:00 pm, Bray Auditorium. The Guidance Department is hosting this event for seniors and their families as they navigate their post-secondary planning for college, work, or the military. It will also include a full financial aid presentation from a financial aid professional.
Student Dismissals
We understand that unexpected situations come up and you may occasionally need to pick up your student without prior notice. To help our school day run smoothly and ensure your child is ready when you arrive, we kindly ask that dismissal requests be sent in advance whenever possible. If a same-day request is unavoidable, please give your house office at least two hours' notice using the email addresses below. Walk-in dismissals should only occur when unforeseen circumstances arise.

Reminder: PSAT and SAT School Day Opportunity
On Wednesday, October 21 both juniors and seniors will have an opportunity to take the (P)SAT during the school day.
SAT School Day Message - Grade 12
Format: The exam will be given digitally. Students must use their school-issued device.
Registration: Complete THIS FORM by Thursday, September 24.
Important: Do not register through The College Board for this administration.
Cost: $60. Please note that the College Board does not allow SAT fee waivers for School Day administrations. Once your test is ordered, you will receive instructions on how and where to pay.
PSAT School Day Message - Grade 11
Format: The exam will be given digitally. Students must use their school-issued device.
Registration: Complete THIS FORM to reserve your spot by Thursday, September 24.
Cost: $20 for juniors. Once your test is ordered, you will receive instructions on how and where to pay.

Career and Technical Education Update Re: PPE
Now that the school year is up and running, our CTE students are getting into live work and hands-on learning in their shops!
If your student’s program requires PPE such as jeans, work boots, safety glasses, or other protective equipment, please make sure they bring their required items each day. Lockers are available in each shop for students to store their gear. If purchasing PPE is a financial hardship for your family, please reach out to CTE Director Ms. Cathie Rebelo at crebelo@attleboroschools.com. We want to make sure every student has what they need to participate safely and successfully!
AHS College and Career Fair
AHS will host its annual College and Career Fair on Monday, September 28. This fair is for all juniors and seniors. Students do not need to sign up. Please see the College and Career Fair 2026 list to see attendees.
Student Parking: There will be a change to parking that day for students. We will need to use C lot for the college representatives, so it will be closed to students on this day. Students will park in D lot and Highland.
AHS eSports Team
The AHS eSports Team (competitive gaming team) is fundraising to cover the cost to compete this year. In Spring 2025 they took home the state championship and in Spring 2026 they made it into the top 16 of the state tournament. Any and all support is appreciated!
