Valedictorian / Salutatorian Update
Earlier today, eligible seniors who indicated that they were interested in valedictorian or salutatorian speaking honors received a screening application to complete. If students have questions, they should contact their house assistant principal.
AP Exams
AP Exams begin Monday, May 4! Students will soon receive messaging telling them their specific test locations and report times. Please see below for general information and guidance.
Students will test using their school issued Chromebook. Please remember to bring it fully charged each testing day. Students will test using the Bluebook app which is already on their device. A College Board login is required for testing. All students have these credentials already. It is very important that ALL testers KNOW their username and password for each test session.
Phones and other electronic devices (smart watches, Smart glasses and other wearable technology) are not allowed in the room while testing. Those devices will be removed from the testing room and returned when students are ready to leave the room after the test.
Students taking AP exams who have unpaid fees or students who took the SAT during our SchoolDay administration and have not paid their fee can pay these obligations online by logging in to www.MySchoolBucks.com.
The AP exam schedule is established by The College Board. Students generally report to testing at 7:30 for morning exams and 11:30 AM for the afternoon exams. Afternoon exams will get out after the school day ends. Students need to make arrangements for getting home after. Once in the testing room, students will not have access to their phones to text or call to coordinate a ride. This should be done in advance.
Students may need to eat their lunch at an adjusted time due to their test schedule. This will be communicated to testers when they receive their room assignments.
Students are allowed to have a bottle of water in the test room. There is a 10 min break in each test. They may keep a neat, quick and quiet snack under their seats to enjoy during the 10 min break.

Reminder for All Families:
Every school day matters for student success. Research shows that regular attendance supports confidence, reduces stress, and builds strong habits for the future. While we recognize the value of family time and enrichment activities, families are reminded to consider the impact of any missed class time. Vacation/extracurricular absences are unexcused and represent learning time that cannot be recovered. We look forward to seeing all students as we return to school next Monday, April 27, 2026!
