Yearbook
Your student’s 25-26 Yearbook Staff is hard at work creating their piece of history! We are laying out pages, taking photos, and copy editing!
This is a reminder about a few important deadlines.
For seniors to be guaranteed a yearbook on their last day of school, it must be ordered by May 1.
Any student who wants a personalized cover or other accessories, must place that order by the end of the school day on March 1.
Any family who wants to create a Senior Tribute for their student must do so by March 18. However, space is limited; ads will be published on a first come, first served basis.
Underclassmen who want yearbooks can order them until May 31 for guaranteed delivery before the last day of school.
All of these things can be done at yearbookforever.com.
If you have any questions, please email ahsyearbook@attleboroschools.com. Thank you for your support!
Student Survey on Monday
Each year, students in grades 3-12 participate in a survey as part of Attleboro's involvement in the Massachusetts Consortium for Innovative Education Assessment (MCIEA) which aims to help schools and the community measure school quality outside of simply relying on MCAS data. Our students will be participating in this year's survey on Monday. The survey takes approximately 15-30 minutes and is done during the school day. If you would like to see the results of previous surveys/questions, please visit the MCIEA School Quality Measures Dashboard.
Reminder: Spring SAT School Day
This spring we are offering grade 11 students the option to take the SAT during the school day. We plan to administer the test on Wednesday, April 15. This is a convenient alternative to the Saturday administration as it can help you minimize the need to juggle work and other weekend commitments.
This test will be administered digitally. Students will use their own school-issued device. To register, please complete THIS FORM by February 13. DO NOT REGISTER THROUGH COLLEGE BOARD FOR THIS ADMINISTRATION.
The cost of the exam is $60. The College Board does not allow SAT fee waivers for school day administrations. Once your test is ordered, you will be notified where and how to pay for your exam. Please keep in mind that this is an optional exam.
If you have questions about the SAT School Day or college and career planning, please reach out to me or your child’s counselor—we’re here to help!
Grade 10 Health Screenings
Our school nurses will be conducting state mandated vision, hearing, and BMI (height & weight) screenings for all 10th grade students during the week of February 9-13. These screenings are part of our routine health assessments to help ensure the well-being of all students. If you would like to opt your child out of these screenings, please contact the school nurses directly at AHSNurses@attleboroschools.com by February 6, 2026. Thank you for your cooperation.
Grade 9 SBIRT Screening
Families of grade 9 students are encouraged to visit the SBIRT Health Screening page for information regarding the upcoming SBIRT screening. This state mandated screening is used to screen for alcohol, nicotine, tobacco, and other drug use. If you would like to opt your child out of this screening, please jlittle@attleboroschools.com by February 2, 2026.
Final Reminder: Course Requests and Student Appeals
Grade 9-11 students who requested advanced level coursework (Honors or AP), but did not receive a teacher recommendation may submit an appeal application. The deadline to complete the application is Monday, February 2. This is a firm deadline and no exceptions can be made as the school must move forward with building our schedule for next year. Students and families should refer to THIS DOCUMENT for specific details regarding the appeals process.
