Course Requests and Student Appeals

Grade 9-11 students who requested advanced level coursework (Honors or AP), but did not receive a teacher recommendation may submit an appeal application. The deadline to complete the application is Monday, February 2. This is a firm deadline and no exceptions can be made as the school must move forward with building our schedule for next year. Students and families should refer to THIS DOCUMENT for specific details regarding the appeals process.

Grade 10 Health Screenings

Our school nurses will be conducting state mandated vision, hearing, and BMI (height & weight) screenings for all 10th grade students during the week of February 9-13. These screenings are part of our routine health assessments to help ensure the well-being of all students. If you would like to opt your child out of these screenings, please contact the school nurses directly at AHSNurses@attleboroschools.com by February 6, 2026. Thank you for your cooperation.

Grade 9 SBIRT Screening

Families of grade 9 students are encouraged to visit the SBIRT Health Screening page for information regarding the upcoming SBIRT screening. This state mandated screening is used to screen for alcohol, nicotine, tobacco, and other drug use. If you have questions please reach out to Julie Little at jlittle@attleboroschools.com.
