Trimester One Grades Are Closing
Friday, December 5, is the last day of trimester one. If you have any questions or concerns about your student’s performance in class, please contact your student’s teachers. Also, see below for guidelines concerning late work and test retakes.
Regarding late work, students will have two weeks from the due date to submit the assignment. Regarding test retakes, students will have two weeks upon the return of the test to retake it if they so choose. Furthermore, students are not automatically entitled to a retake. To be eligible, students must do two things: 1) demonstrate effort on the initial assessment, and 2) reflect on their performance. Students must demonstrate effort so teachers can give accurate feedback regarding areas of improvement. Students must reflect on their teacher’s feedback and formulate a plan to improve performance. If you have questions, please reach out to your student’s specific teacher(s). Do not wait until the last minute to retake tests or submit late work. It will be too late!

Opt In or Opt Out to District SMS Messaging
District/School text messages are sent from the short code 989-00. Per CTIA requirements, recipients must be able to opt out of receiving SMS messages by replying "Stop" to that number. This will stop only text messages (calls and emails will continue as usual).
If you previously opted out and would like to start receiving text alerts again, simply send "Start" to 989-00 to be added back into future SMS communications.
Welcome Center Update
Contact or visit the Welcome Center for access to Community Resources, Community Flyers, and support for all things APS.
