As we begin to prepare for the start of the 2025-26 academic year, we want to share some important information in anticipation of the start of what promises to be an exciting school year. We will continue to use this platform to provide further updates as we get closer to the first day of school. In the meantime, we hope you are having a wonderful summer!
Scheduling Update
Schedules for the 2025-26 school year are now available in Aspen. These schedules share more information than the preliminary ones shared with you in June. Please note that these schedules are “live” and still subject to change due to any number of factors. You can check your schedule periodically for updates. See the instructions below to access your schedule.
While our goal is to accommodate each student's requested courses, due to the complexity of the schedule, it may not always be feasible to fulfill all primary requests. There may be elective, 2-credit courses on your schedule that you did not select. This happened because another course you selected did not fit. The course(s) on your schedule likely helps you meet your graduation requirements.
As indicated in the Program of Studies and reiterated in our June message, schedule changes are only granted for educationally compelling reasons. If students have questions or concerns about their schedules, they should contact their guidance counselor via this form: Scheduling Concern Form. Appropriate reasons to contact guidance counselors regarding a scheduling concern would be inappropriate level, unmet prerequisite, a health/safety reason, or scheduling error. Examples of scheduling errors include multiple courses being scheduled for the same time or periods with no courses listed. It would be inappropriate to contact guidance counselors concerning being with friends, teacher preference, convenience, or no longer having an interest in the course.
Guidance counselors will be available in person and by appointment at the AHS College & Career Center on August 12 and 14, and again later in August before the school year begins. Appointments to discuss schedules can be booked through this calendar link: Book time with AHS Guidance.

Lifetouch/Prestige Portraits will be at Attleboro High School on 08/20/25 and 08/21/2025. They have many slots still available for seniors to get their portrait done for the yearbook at a greatly discounted price. The AHS campus has many nice locations (such as the Rotary "A" or by the Bridge with the stadium in the background) that can be used as a background. They are also offering indoor shots in the College and Career Center across from the main office. Appointments are available from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. School Supplies
Our new building has state of the art technology within it. As such, the primary school supply that all students will need to bring with them to their classes will be their school-issued Chromebook. Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook and charger to school everyday. Students with course specific supply needs will be notified of them in the first few days of the school year.
Below is a list of potential general supplies your family may consider purchasing. None of these items are required:
Backpack: Very few high school students use lockers; therefore, backpacks are relatively standard. Please select one that is comfortable, functional, and able to fit a Chromebook and charger.
Planner/Agenda: Being organized is crucial to success at the high school level. It is recommended that students have a planner/agenda that has enough space on each day to list. You can use your Chromebook for this but a physical one can be an alternative.
Paper: Students should bring in some form of paper that works best for them: notebooks, loose-leaf paper in binders, graph paper, etc are all acceptable.
Writing Utensils: Students should bring in some form of writing utensil. Pens or pencils are acceptable; some may also want to use highlighters.
Calculators: Although some math and science classes will utilize a scientific calculator, it is not advisable to buy an expensive calculator until the teacher has met with the class.
Organization: Staying organized is a crucial component of success in high school. Consider an organization system that works best for you: binders, folders, etc.
