Thank you to everyone who joined us at AHS last night. Blue Pride Night has been a tradition for many years, but the positive atmosphere and student run events/tables stood out from the past. The music, dance, performances, student excitement and pride for who they are and what they are doing continued to shine as people roamed the building. Speaking with many of our future AHS students and their families, it was continual recognition and accolades for what is occurring at AHS. Our building is something we are all proud of, but the students and staff that work within these walls are the most impactful pieces of our school community. Thank you for joining us and celebrating how we “do school” at AHS!
Next Week and Beyond
We have four days of school next week. There is no school on Monday. See the calendar below for our even/odd calendar.
Grade 9 Postural Screenings
We will be conducting mandatory postural screenings for all grade 9 students starting the week of November 18, 2024. This is not a diagnostic service but a screening that is a routine part of our health program aimed at identifying any potential postural issues. If your child has any unusual findings, you will be notified and advised to take your child to a physician for further evaluation. If you have any questions/concerns or do not want your child screened, please feel free to reach to our nurses at ahsnurses@attleboroschools.com.

News from the Guidance Department
Attleboro High School was selected as a host site for the Massachusetts College Application Celebration (MCAC) during the week of November 18-22. This week-long event is sponsored by GEAR UP Massachusetts and administered through the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education. MCAC encourages students to take a significant step toward college by providing assistance and building excitement for the college application process. As part of this week, we have five colleges providing On- Site Admissions opportunities, as well as a financial aid evening for students and their families. While these events are now at capacity due to the overwhelming response from our seniors, we will continue to have more opportunities in the spring. All students who submit an application to any college during this week will receive a t-shirt.
