We plan to share trimester one progress reports next Wednesday. Please be on the lookout for these reports, which will be shared digitally via Aspen. Here’s how to access the report:

  • STEP 1: Log into your Aspen family account (https://ma-attleboro.myfollett.com) and click the “Pages” top tab.

  • STEP 2: Find the Published Reports heading on the main page.

  • STEP 3: Click the Progress Report under that heading.

If you have concerns about your student’s performance in any class, please contact the teacher. T1 ends December 6. See last week’s update for more information on our late work and retake guidelines.

Reminder: Winter Sports Registration

Winter Sports registration is open until Friday, November 8. Please see the Athletic webpage link for more information: https://ahs.attleboroschools.com/o/ahs/page/athletics

Reminder: Grading Group

AHS is considering making changes to our grading system, namely how we report grades and the scale that we use. Changes under consideration include reporting letters (A+ to F) instead of numbers (47, 64, 83, 95, etc) and using a 4.0 type scale instead of a 45 to 100 one. If you would like to be part of this group, please complete THIS FORM. We will meet the evening of Blue Pride Night, November 7. We will provide more details to those who complete the form.

Reminder: Guidance Department News

The AHS guidance department is proud to announce that we are hosting an FSA ID Night on Thursday, November 21, 2024. From 4:00 to 6:00, we will provide assistance in creating FSA IDs for seniors and families so everyone is ready to file the FAFSA in December. At 5:00 there will be a brief presentation on the financial aid process. Pizza will be served during the presentation. Please register here: https://forms.gle/ZXgfFTPkMzZJvVfS6.

AHS is also participating in the Massachusetts College Application Celebration, November 18-22. Details are below.
