The second annual cookie argument was decided today. Our English students had to create arguments using rhetorical strategies to argue which cookie is the best. Kids all did great work and the winner was Chocolate Chip. Sugar cookies made it to the final as well but couldn't pull out the win.
Have a great holiday break everyone!

It has been an exciting few days in Mr. Tarsi's science classes! Grade 9 students have been working on an egg drop experiment and AP Physics students have been working on measuring the stretch of rubber bands that are linked compared to individual rubber bands, seeing if there's a pattern/trend and then using that data to calculate how many rubber bands to link together to make a bungee cord for a Barbie doll!

Students in Mr. Gerardi's astronomy class are following up the completion of a reflection lab by exploring lenses for telescopes. They'll use these lenses, other materials, and knowledge gained on reflection and refraction to create their own homemade telescopes! Students will hunt for objects hidden on campus from a distance, a scientific scavenger hunt.
