Career & Technical Education Programs

Overview

Career and Technical Education programs at AHS are long-term, structured courses of study that provide post-secondary and career preparation in technical, industrial and human service fields. These courses are for everyone, college bound or not. All technical programs at AHS dovetail with higher education in the same or related areas. The Career & Technical Programs are technically demanding, yet fun and interesting because of their active, project-based approach.

All CTE programs are in three sequential levels: Level 1 (Sophomore), Level 2 (Junior), and Level 3 (Senior). Curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts Department of Education Career and Technical Education Curriculum Frameworks. Students must pass the prior level to advance to the next level.
