Family Update
Many smiles, celebrations and positive vibes as we enter our new Attleboro High School together. Students and staff are still mastering class locations and schedules, but every day it becomes easier and just as exciting. Our new school is spectacular! Will be offering an Open House on Sept. 24 for anyone in the community that would like to see our flagship school- we hope you can join us. Our doors will be open from 11:00-1:00 on the 24th.
Fire Drill
Yesterday we had our first fire drill. The staff and students were able to evacuate the building in an orderly and timely manner. Due to the new building, we will have on-going drills throughout the year to establish common procedures and practices.
Communication
Thank you to the students and families that have reached out with questions or concerns. Together we can collaborate, problem solve as well as celebrate things as they come up. Feel free to email me at kcampbell@attleboroschools.com or call the principal's office at 508-222-5150. Our administrative team works closely together and are here to support students and families.
Lockers
Students who want lockers should request one through their House Office.
PSATs for Juniors
Attleboro High School will be offering the PSAT/NMSQT to grade 11 students on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. This is the only day AHS will administer this exam.
The PSAT test determines eligibility for National Merit Scholars for students in grade 11. Students aspiring to receive this distinction should consider taking the exam.
If you are interested in taking the PSAT, please fill out this form: PSAT Interest Form. This form will only be open until 5:00 pm on Friday, September 9. If you do not complete this form by the deadline, you may not be eligible to take the test. Students must use their @attleborops.net school email account to complete the form.
The cost of the test is $20 and must be paid via cash or money order. Once the test is ordered, students will be notified regarding payment collection.
If you have any questions, please contact your Guidance Counselor or Robin Frank at rfrank@attleboroschools.com.
