Next Week and Beyond
We have five days of school next week. Please see the even/odd calendar below for additional details.
Collaboration and Celebration
Please read the attached link celebrating an AHS- NAHS Mental Health Event this past week. The collaboration and determination to build awareness in both our school communities is to be commended. The students from both schools' Active Minds chapters spearheaded the event and the collaboration https://search.app/gNXUF1qiEPeQLuGUA.
Dismissal Information - Student Pick-up
If you pick up your child at the end of the school day please PULL ALL THE WAY FORWARD in front of the building. Cars are not allowed to be idling on the road especially in the rotary area. This has become a safety issue and is impacting the neighborhood roads and accessibility of emergency vehicles. We will have more staff out front starting next week, please follow their directions as they encourage cars to continue to move forward in the line.
Rooms/Attleboro App Update
We’re pleased to announce an update to the Attleboro Public Schools mobile app, rolling out the week of January 27! Here’s what’s new:
Enhanced Navigation: A more intuitive design for quick access to announcements, messages, and class information.
Streamlined Communication: Faster, easier ways to connect with your student’s teachers.
To enjoy these improvements, update your app through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store during the week of January 27. If you have automatic updates enabled, no action is needed.
For a preview of the new features, check out the resources below:

SAT School Day Opportunity for Grade 11 Students
This spring we are offering grade 11 students the option to take the SAT during the school day. We plan to administer the test on Wednesday, April 16 during the school day. This is a convenient alternative to the Saturday administration as it can help you minimize the need to juggle work and other weekend commitments.
This test will be administered digitally. Students will use their own school-issued device. To register, please complete this form by February 28. DO NOT REGISTER THROUGH COLLEGE BOARD FOR THIS ADMINISTRATION.
The cost of the exam is $60. The College Board does not allow SAT fee waivers for school day administrations. Once your test is ordered, you will be notified where and how to pay for your exam. Please keep in mind that this is an optional exam.
If you have questions about the SAT School Day or college and career planning, please reach out to me or your child’s counselor—we’re here to help!
Final Reminder: Course Requests and Student Appeals
Grade 9-11 students who requested advanced level coursework (Honors or AP), but did not receive a teacher recommendation may submit an appeal application. The deadline to complete the application is Wednesday, January 29. This is a firm deadline and no exceptions can be made as the school must move forward with building our schedule for next year. Students and families should refer to THIS DOCUMENT for specific details regarding the appeals process.
FAFSA Night Recap
Thank you to everyone who joined us at last night's FASFA support night. The AHS Financial Aid Series continued as students, staff and families collaborated to help make college a reality. #ThisIsAttleboro
