AP and MCAS Testing

Advanced Placement testing began earlier this week and continues into next week. Students should continue to check their email regularly for important updates.

Grade 10 students will be taking Math MCAS on May 21 and 22. Please talk to your student about doing their best on this graduation requirement.

Seniors - Approaching the Finish Line

Seniors have two  weeks of classes left. Many need to pass all of their courses to graduate. Families: if you have any concerns, please contact your student’s teachers so you can work collaboratively toward successful outcomes. Senior obligations also need to be taken care of as soon as possible. Lastly, seniors will also have to return their Chromebooks and chargers prior to graduation. More details on that will be forthcoming.

Underclassmen - Approaching the Finish Line Too

Although a little farther out than seniors, the end of the year is also quickly approaching for our grade 9-11 students. Again, please check Aspen and your email frequently for updates from our staff regarding your student’s progress. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out immediately.  In last week’s update, we shared information regarding T3 progress reports and our guidelines regarding late and resubmitted work. Please make sure you are aware of grades and expectations to help ensure successful outcomes for all students.

Parent Drop Off and Pick Up

Please use the assigned routes for drop off and pick up. We have had parents pulling into  staff parking spots when they drop off in the morning as well as in the afternoon. Unfortunately, this causes issues for staff who arrive after 7:15 a.m.  Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Teacher Appreciation Week

Thank you to Shannon Santos Danho and Colleen McNamara for representing BPAC. The assistance with Staff Breakfast, Tuesday’s Ice Cream Truck and sweet treats were all very appreciated.

We would also like to thank  our very generous community business partners listed below. They all donated to help us make this week a wonderful week celebrating our AHS staff.

These students continue to represent who they are as individuals as well as what they stand for in our school community. Congratulations to all our award winners!
