Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Night to Discover. This well-planned event gathered students and staff from K-12+ and their families. Students were able to share current focus areas of learning and interest in an environment that fostered inquisitive questioning from the guests. Students were the voices of what they are doing during their school day and took ownership and showed pride in sharing what they know. Having younger students ask clarifying and wonder questions to our HS students showed not only confidence, but also the welcoming and inviting atmosphere AHS students build. The student performances inspire and connect all ages and personalities with many smiles along the way. We look forward to future opportunities and events like last night.
Next Week
We have five dull days of school next week. See the calendar below.
AP Testing Information
All students in AP courses are required to take the exam associated with the course. Last week, all students and families in AP courses were emailed invoices. If, for some reason, you did not receive an invoice or have a question about it, please contact Robin Frank at rfrank@attleboroschools.com. Thank you to all the students and families who have already paid their invoices!
Grade 10 ELA MCAS
All grade 10 students are taking the ELA (English Language Arts) MCAS on March 26 and 27--only a couple of weeks away! In preparation for this test, here are a few timely reminders:
MCAS counts! It is a graduation requirement. Demonstrating competency on MCAS is one of the state requirements for receiving a high school diploma. Do your best.
Bring your Chromebook. Students have school-issued Chromebooks and they must bring them fully charged on each testing day. It is also recommended that students bring their chargers.
If you have any issues with your school-issued device, you must contact Robin Frank, rfrank@attleboroschools.com prior to testing.
Sophomores: We believe you all have the ability to be successful on this test. Your teachers have worked hard to prepare you for this moment, and we’re sure that you have worked hard as well. Being successful on this test is a way for you to demonstrate BLUE PRIDE to yourself, your family, your teachers, and the whole school community. We all believe in you!
