Welcome Back AHS families!
Happy New Year. We are excited to see what positive opportunities the future holds for our school community.
Below is a link to a recent article in the Sun Chronicle. Our Seniors shined as they sent a message of hope and optimism to the community as we enter 2024.
NEASC
As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence in education, Attleboro High School is proud to announce our most recent involvement with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) accreditation process.
NEASC is a renowned accreditation organization that evaluates and supports the continuous improvement of schools. Attaining NEASC accreditation is a testament to our dedication to providing a high-quality learning environment for our students.
As valued members of our school community, your feedback is crucial in helping us understand the strengths of our educational programs and areas where we can enhance the overall student experience. To gather your insights, we kindly request that you take a few moments to complete the NEASC Family Survey. As we continue to gather staff, student and family feedback we will need to have family feedback by January 19th. Thank you in advance for your participation.
Your input will play a vital role in the accreditation process, shaping the future of Attleboro High School and ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed the highest standards of education.
We appreciate your partnership in fostering an environment of academic excellence, and your participation in the NEASC Family Survey is a valuable contribution to our collective success.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to working together to further elevate the educational experience at Attleboro High School.
Next week
We have five days of school next week with a half day on Friday. Lunch will not be served.
Grade 9 Postural Screenings
Grade 9 postural screenings will start next Monday, January 8. These are state mandated health screenings. The purpose of this screening is to detect early signs of possible spinal problems. It is not a diagnostic service but a program to identify young people who should have further medical evaluation. If your child has any unusual findings, you will be notified and asked to take your child to a physician as a precaution. Please reach out to our AHS nurses if you have any questions: AHSnurses@attleboroschools.com or 508-222-5150 ext 20058.
College Alumni Series
The Guidance Department and the Future Focus Club are sponsoring a series of visits in January with recent graduates of AHS. We will be hosting small group sessions focusing on different college experiences. Please see the Alumni College Series to sign up.
