ACRE/OneGoal

Did you know that AHS has a program for first generation college students in all grade levels? Please see the link below for more information on our program and how you can help!

Such a Busy Place!

AHS is such a busy place both during the school day and after school hours. Here’s a snapshot of some of the major events that occurred this past week:

  • A Night To Discover: AHS hosted a truly remarkable K-12+ district-wide event on Tuesday. Faculty and students from all schools descended upon our cafeteria’s open space to showcase all the wonderful learning that occurs in our classrooms. Innovation, collaboration, communication--it’s all happening in our schools everyday. Thanks to everyone who came to support this event and our students.

  • Junior Planning Night: Thank you to the AHS Guidance Team and over 200 grade 11 families who participated in this event about college and career planning.

  • Prism Concert: AHS hosted the annual Prism Concert in the Robert H. Bray auditorium this week. We had so many spectacular performances! Thank you to the students, staff, and family members who support our music programming.

  • Drama Festival: The AHS drama club performed at the state festival last Sunday and advanced to the next round of competition. Congratulations to the entire drama club and crew for making AHS proud!

  • Boys and Girls State: Early today AHS students who expressed interest in Boys and Girls State were interviewed by the American Legion and Women’s Auxiliary, who traditionally sponsor our students. Thank you to the interviewers for this school-community collaboration.

Please check out our Live Feed section of the website for lots of photographs from the above events.  See you next week!
