Our Mission

Attleboro High School challenges all students to acquire the critical and creative skills necessary for success in an ever-changing world.

One small step ...

One small step for man ...

A10:56 pm on July 20th,1969 -forty years ago this year - Neil Armstrong spoke these immortal words: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”.

The theme for this site was inspired by this 40th anniversary of Apollo 11’s moon landing where Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong became the first men to ever walk on the moon. Their scientific explorations continue to provide new insights for young and old alike.

To celebrate the event NASA has released digitally remastered video and photos of the lunar landing that can be viewed here. You will need Javascript enabled and the latest version of the Flash player .

Census 2010 begins: click here.

Did you know? The 2010 census is coming…and it is
important!

Did you know? The census count affects the distribution
of educational funding.

Did you know? The Census Bureau does not share your
personal information with courts, the police, or other
federal departments such as the Internal Revenue Service
and the Department of Homeland Security.

Did you know? Census data directly affect decisions
made on all matters of national and local importance, including
education, employment, veterans’ services, public
health care, rural development, transportation and housing.

Did you know? Federal law requires that everyone participate in the census - you cannot "opt out."

Governor Deval Patrick Commends Students

The Governor writes: "After several years of flat or declining ELA results, this year we saw across the board improvement, as well as noteworthy gains by our Black and Hispanic students. Most impressive is that more than three-quarters of our 10th graders scored Proficient or higher on the English and Math exams; a tremendous improvement over the pace set in 1998, when just one-quarter scored Proficient or higher on both exams."
